Kearny hires Helix alum as head football coach

Kearny High has hired Eric Stavola as head football coach. Stavola was a standout linebacker at Helix High. After graduating in 1991, he went on to play at the University of the Pacific. Last season, Stavola served as defensive coordinator at Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis. Heritage Christian, with an enrollment of 535, is coming off a state championship and national ranking by the National Christian Schools Athletic Association.
